Farid Naguib is Practice Leader for Transportation Planning and Engineering at Intueor. He brings to Intueor, a well-rounded background in traffic engineering, transportation planning, and conceptual engineering. In this capacity, he is responsible for business development, sales, and service delivery to Intueor’s Transportation and Transit clients across the country.
Farid has more than 25 years of diversified and hands-on project experience. His areas of expertise include Transit Corridor Projects, Major Investment Study (MIS) Planning, Environmental Studies, Light Rail/Vehicular Interface Analyses, Traffic Operations Simulation, Traffic Impact Studies and Parking Analyses. He has conducted traffic analyses and improvement projects throughout Southern California for several high profile Light Rail Transit (LRT), Freeway and HOV Corridor Projects. At-grade Crossing Evaluations, Internal Circulation at Transit Station Areas, and Design of Urban Intersections. Some of his clients include California Counties of Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange. Some of the prominent projects he was involved in are the Regional Connector Light Rail Transit Corridor Project, High Desert Corridor Project, Westside Extension Transit Corridor Project, etc.
Prior to joining Intueor, Farid was a Senior Supervising Transportation Engineer for Parsons Brinckerhoff for more than a decade. Before that, he worked for several reputed transportation engineering firms including Wilbur Smith Associates and Gruen Associates.
After receiving his Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University, Farid completed his Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the Arizona State University. Additionally, he is a Certified Project Manager and a Professional Traffic Engineer.
