Intueor led the development of an agency-wide IT strategic plan for one of the largest transit agencies in the United States, outlining a 10-year horizon for IT initiatives, including business applications, IT hardware and infrastructure, ITS organizational structure, and IT operational efficiencies.
The client is in middle of a massive improvement and expansion of services; a critical element of this undertaking is to improve IT capabilities.
During the course of two years, Intueor worked with this transit agency to develop a strategic plan for rail transit, bus, and highways, addressing business applications, technology and infrastructure, IT operations, and IT security. We assessed the client's current IT capabilities and needs, and identified best practices from peer agencies. And Intueor developed a prioritized project list for a 10-year budget cycle.
Three years after Intueor completed its work, the strategic plan we provided has been adopted, implemented, and continues guide the one of the largest transit agencies in the United States through a transformative period.
